| Warriors: I find myself on the first page of Google for a keyword combo that gets, according to exact match using the Google Keyword tool more than 22000 monthly searches. Anybody wanna guess at how much traffic I will see in the 9th spot? Cheers. |

Even in position 1 you won't get more than 400 visitors a day. Also, it's not a good idea to base an entire site on 1 keyword alone. Unless it's a keyword with incredibly good conversions. Good sites get 2-3 times more visits from long tail keywords than from a trophy keyword. |

| Hey: My site is not centered around one keyword phrase, but one of the phrases I'm after is on page one. Thanks for the responses guys. |

I've seen some keywords which would get more traffic on the 3 or 4 spot in comparison with 1 or 2 spots. The domain name is also important.

If your running a browser with cookies/internet-history then your getting personalized SERP results, which is the opposite of what you want. I use Chrome Incognito for manual SERP checks on my keywords (no cookies/history). If your getting personalized SERP results, you might be #37+ in the SERP, & be showing up as #9 in your browser (which would be false). Just saying... | |

You could be getting a lot of traffic or almost none. I think Google ranking is just one part of the puzzle, you should also get traffic other ways that have been discussed here many times if you search for it. |

lutherlars, Showing up in the SERPS is only the first part of getting traffic. Your title and description have a lot to do with whether someone viewing the SERPS will click on your listing or not. If your listing is not enticing and highly relevant to the search phrase you will not get many clicks even in #1 position. |
