confusing How do you guys structure your sites?

Lets say you have 5 main kws you are targeting

You want an individual page for each kw, that is the page you backlink with all your anchor text etc I assume

So in Wordpress each of these kws gets its own page? So you are not just posting blog posts or articles off the main page?

I thought that people posted blog posts of the articles and wordpress automatically made that blog post into a separate page also
