Default Proxies Are Giving Me a Hell of a Task on Scrapebox

Isn't there a free proxy that works for scrapebox, imagine i can't even scrape blogs or getting less than 80 blogs for keywords like "business". I can't afford paid proxies now and badly need a proxy source that truly works not those trash some people will put up and charge little fee or call free working proxies and yet doesn't deliver on promise.

What is your source of genuine working proxy pls?

Thanks in advance.

I use Forum Proxy Leecher - as the name says it scrape forums where people list proxy lists. The second tactic I have used is to find some good sites/forums where proxy lists are submitted(best if daily updated). Of course paid proxies are always better, but for scraping it is just fine(even blog commenting can be quite succesful, but not as good as with private proxies).

Exactly, and to be more easy you can add those site to the scrapebox proxy harvester source and let scrapebox get them from those site, test them and then use it.

Thank you

My advice is to find a proxy source that CAN'T be "harvested" via software. They can be hard to find, but they're out there.

Use this source for scraping. And if you can, spend $5-$10 a month on dedicated or semi-dedicated proxies for posting & other things.

I just started using these recently. They are not free, but are not real expensive either.

mazgalici: I will give you FOUR fast proxies from our servers for $5 on fiverr.com

That's what I use. (The semi-dedicated ones.)

Though if you go straight to their site you can get 5 for $5.

The ones on fiverr are not shared though.

There are a few providers on BlueFart forums that provide scraped, checked, and "live" shared proxies.

They will do all the hard work for you and provide a list of shared proxies 2x a day. I believe the initial cost was something like $100, but its well worth it.

Well for one, make sure you are using the new proxy harvester in Scrapebox. Not the old one.

Click settings > Use new proxy harvester.

Then adjust your maximum connections to 30 for the proxy harvester.

Then adjust your timeout settings to 10 seconds for the proxy harvester.

Make sure "ignore google" is checked. There ya go.

I can scrape thousands and thousands of URLs with these options in SB, so yea I'm pretty sure you are using the wrong settings and the old proxy harvester.

Solid advice, unless you need to scrape or use Google with the proxies.

But again, that's great advice if you are posting or using Yahoo other sites and just need to find active and alive proxies.

Yeah, if you are wanting to use the proxies to scrape URLs from Google's engine, then you would need to un-check the "ignore google" option.

But if you are just trying to get a ton of proxies for commenting or something that ISNT scraping results from google, you should keep it checked. lol I've been using SB for like 1 and a half years
