Seo-Friendly and Eye-Catchy wordpress theme

Hello,

I have plan to put up a niche site. Which wordpress theme would you suggest? I have used theme called "elements of seo" and it was good, but I'm looking something more commercial.
What you think about Woo themes or Thesis theme? Or maybe you could suggest me something new.

Flexsqueeze. Best theme there is in my honest opinion. It is really customizable.

I have moved 2 of my sites over to the clickbump themes in the last month, with good results in terms of traffic.

I have also set up 3 new sites using the Clickbump themes.Templates.
So far I am seeing good results. I do not like using plugins and this theme means that I avoid the use of them.

ctr theme is a pretty nice SEO friendly WordPress theme to use in my opinion.

Maybe I can answer this question.

Not all plugins are created the same. Some of them can break your theme and equally so, some of them can enhance your theme.

Not all plugins are tested with ALL themes.

I'm not saying that plugins are evil or anything like that, just test the plugin you want to use first in a controlled environment before actually using it on your live blog. Make 100% sure it's what you NEED before using it.

Well said. I second that 100%

During customer support engagements, on occasions when I'm asked to login to someone's site to check this or that, I frequently see upwards of 20-30 activated plugins. And often times these are on brand new wordpress sites!

This causes a drag on the server and slows down the site and the admin, leading to countless hours of lost productivity over the long term.
