Hi, I'm struggling to find long-tails. I know the theory and read all sorts on this. Problem is that I can't find profitable long-tail words for virtual products as I imagine I would be able to with physical ones. 1. Is there a program I can buy as a one-off payment to do my keyword research with free updates to account for Google changes? 2. Is there any recommeded people who offer a service to find you keyword-led profitable niches and/or long tail keywords for existing niches? |

Hi, I'd highly recommend you buy Market Samurai if you're looking for a product to help you with long tail keyword research. It's easy to use and works directly with Google so you can be sure the information is coming from the big G itself. It's a free trial and then a one-time payment with updates included. I can't recommend any services for keyword research because I use Market Samurai. Hope that helps Thanks Eleanor |

There are many different software packages one can use for KW research: Market Samurai, Traffic Travis, Keyword Scout (my personal favorite). The question you have to ask yourself is how often you are going to use this program. It might be wiser at the beginning to buy services from somebody who is experienced with KW research, competition analysis, and SEO. You can than setup those sites, and spent time/money on ranking them and getting some of the money back. However, if you plan to use a software as a service provider, then, by all means - go for it.

You can also try free trial of semrush, it doesn't match your requirments as you can only buy a subscription for a month(i mean full version here). But it's much faster in finding profitable long-tails. Feel free to hit me up, I can send you a report with them.

Yes, there are a lot of softwares that can help you with this. Keyword Research is both one of the most important steps, and one of the most overlooked. It's also fairly easy to do it wrong, or come up with misleading stats (i.e. Google Broad Search Results instead of Exact). I like Long Tail Pro keyword tool myself, and then I like to dig up further stats to help me find the best in the bunch that that tool provides me with. Good luck!
