Hello, I'm new here. I've installed CTR Theme on a few of my blogs. I want to know if it's safe for me to just enter the Metal data in the CTR fields for each post/page or should I be using an additional plugin like All-in-one SEO pack? I also want to know it’s better for SEO purposes to use pages or posts more? I'm trying to minimize the amount of steps/plugins to use so if anyone can tell me the best game plan I would greatly appreciate it! Like "Use CTR theme with xzy plugin..." would be great! |

I use CTR with the all-in-one plugin, and I use the plugin for SEO purposes. I know CTR theme has the fields for it, but I still use the plugin. There probably isn't anything different between them, but I just prefer the plugin. |

The CTR theme is fairly well optimized for SEO already. You may find additional value in some of the plug-ins, it's an individual call. Do bear in mind that the more plug-ins you add, it can have an adverse effect on the speed of your site. Regards, Bill |

We use the All In One SEO plugin instead of CTR Theme options. Not sure how CTR Theme is doing it (we haven't tested it) but All In One works great, highly recommended.

I use a plug-in incase I decide to change the theme. I just don't want to have to copy/paste all the data.

Thanks everyone! It's much clearer to me now what to do. Also, where do you all place your Google A. code? In CTR field or in something like Google analyticor plugin, does it matter? I too am worried about using/having too many plugins!

As for the adsense code, insert it in ctr's adsense options. Defeats the whole purpose of this adsense theme if u don't use it's adsense options. | |

Has anyone experienced G ads displaying over content? I'm having trouble with one of my sites. I made a ticket but haven't received a response yet.
