Default Help with selling a website

Hey guys. I'm looking to sell a PR2 landscaping site and I'be never done it before. I'm wondering where the best place to sell is with little to no possibility of being scammed. I've worked hard on this site the past year and I'd hate to get screwed out of it.

What's the average monthly unique traffic count?

It's in the ballpark of about 3,000/mo now. It used to be higher but panda bumped me down to 3rd/4th place for the main KW so it used to be much higher.

Is there a forum to sell here? I scanned the list but didn't see anything.

You can try here Complete Web Sites For Sale!

Or, maybe flippa[dot]com.

My advice is figure out a realistic price for a reserve & start the bidding very low, sometimes you'll end up with more than what your reserve is.

The more data you have the better you'll do at selling the site. Existing traffic is the best seller IMO. I would never buy an existing site without good traffic, building a site is the easy part, so show them your traffic counts, server logs etc...

There is a section for websites for sale. Or if you think you're good at marketing, you can go ahead and list if at flippa.com.
The money you'll get for your site depends on Revenue, Traffic, Traffic source, whether or not the traffic/revenue is consistent... and many more factors.

Good luck with the sale.

I would go with Flippa. I've sold a few there. Cost's a few $$ but there are a good few people buying.
