How to Update Index Title?

I just started a website and when I type site:mydomain.com I saw that the index title was the default one. I have since updated the title using All in One SEO and was wondering how to update the index so that it reflect well on serps.

It depends how often Google crawls your site, Personally, I see changes within 7-10 days. Hope this helps.
