My SEO strategy.. What should I do now???

Dear warriors here the activities which I am doing now days for SEO if you think I am missing something plz guide my, I am working for the seo of an

educational site of pakistan which has multiple sections, as students jobs, study programs, college/ university directory and many more and I am doing

the followings

Off Page:

1. Social bookmarking
2. directory submission
3. article submission
4. forum postings

On Page:

1. meta info according to keywords
2. linking between one page to another where required
3. some programming development

dear warriors I am doing this since last 40 days, site has lots of backlinks, also on top on many searching keywords but according to client they need

more.
suggest me something more and tell me that I continue working on these points or do something else....

Dear site is on top on many keywords but still there are some sections that have lots of related keywords and I've work on just the most important keywords which are mostly searched by users.

I want to ask is there any other thing or activity which I should do to improve..
The matter is there is high competition on keywords and my client wanted to be top all the time, so suggest me should I continue these mentioned activities or there any thing else also to do???

"More" is a little bit vague. You should decide on the meaningful SEO metrics. Do they want:
- more traffic to particular pages?
- high rankings for more challenging keywords?
- more engagement from the community, e.g. more comments, RTs, FB likes and similar?
- more high PR backlinks?

Write blogs on your field or market with providing the new and unique content. And you can put video or images in the blogs to explain your concept more clearly. And you can use social media for getting more visitor to your site. And try to connect to many people and know the reviews and get the advice for making your effort better.
