Hello warriors,

Recently i redesigned my website completely from Joomla to Wordpress in order to get better ranking. But unfortunately my site went from 1st page to ???. I don't know, where my domain is listed in the SERP. I checked up to 20 pages.

Here is my site - Bank Jobs | Banking Jobs in India 2011 - 2012 keyword: bank jobs. It is 1.5 years old. I redirecting all non-existing URLs to my home page using 'Link Juice Keeper' wordpress plugin. I configured all the necessary wordpress plugins correctly.

Please someone suggest me the following,

Is it my website in Google sandbox?

Do i need to requesting reconsideration of my website?

What's wrong in my newly redesigned site?

How to recover my domain?

Your help are highly appreciated.

How long have your site rankings been down? If it's only been a day or two, I wouldn't worry too much.

Well, non unique content wrapped in adsense on a slow loading server = Panda and or just Google filtering out a lousy site. You're going to have to do a lot more than that to rank in this day and age.

Definitely looks like a spammy site. Guess the main question is what kind of ranking techniques you have been using such as backlinking and content creation.

If you did everything right for the migration as you said you did you should be fine, wait a little to see how it turns out, that happened to me with a site I migrated to WP and after a few weeks it got back to first page.

Of course, the question by Sean3000 is very relevant, and if the event matches the time of one of the Panda updates the little G-bear may have something to do with it.

But do not panic, give it some time, monitor your position in Google (use Serp Checker or any other tool).

It looks like it is still indexed, so maybe it will come back.

The problem is your site - it is low quality. It may look pretty - but a manual review is going to get it tagged as bad.

Don't forget google do manual reviews for sites that start to get page one rankings - have a bad site and they will manually slap it.

It took forever to load
It is covered in ads
There is no real content
All the content that there is is simply scraped from somewhere else

It might help to read this:
Google Algo Changes and Google Manual Reviews - How It Works | PotPieGirl.com

And take notes!

This is normally happened to other sites and all you have to do is improve your site's internal structures, latest and fresh content, and enhance your off page optimization. We don't know how Google thinks but in a quality way our site will be noticed.

Thats not true. You are taking information from other places and doing a little spinning and subtracting. Very low quality. Heres one of your posts

"Central Bank of india – Leading Public sector bank invites ONLINE applications from Indian citizens for recruitment of clerical cadre post. Opening date for online registration is 09th November 2010 and Closing date (For All applicants including Far Flung areas) is 08th December 2010. Date for screening test is 13th Feburary 2011. Online facilities will be available from 09th November 2010 onwards. No other means/mode of application / printout will be accepted."

Heres another site carrying the same listing

"Central Bank of India a listed public sector bank invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment in the clerical cadre posts Candidates are requested to apply online between 09th November, 2010 and 08th December, 2010 only through bank’s website www. centralbankofindia.co.in after making payment of application fee/postage. No other means/mode of application/printout will be accepted"

Now maybe thats a standard format or something but as you can see a great deal of it is far from unique content. In fact several sites carry that listing with similar words.

Well perhaps I am wrong - It looks like it is just scraped from either a job site - or from the sites you list as where to go to apply.

I still recommend that you read the link I gave.

Mike - I would have thanked you - but it looks like I have thanked you too much recently - the thanks button has disappeared from your post!

Hajath - Like Mike said - It isn't really unique - none of it is.

The key point is that you aren't adding value for your visitor - you have a "made for adsense" site where the point of the site is to get epople to click on the adsense ads. Google hates this - they want sites that give something to the visitor.

Read that link and you might also want to check out Google webmaster tools - to see what they have to say about what they want.

Everything that is pulled for a search engine is stored in a database. Even in your simple PC you can run a searcch for phrases and the OS knows where to find those phrases on your hard drive. google runs hundreds of Servers th sort an rank websites according to relevance. Can their computers identify entire phrases sentences? Yes.

I had a client that tried the same thing with job listings by pulling listings form another site. Panda slaughtered it and nothing but putting new content could get the site moving up.

Don't worry, it'll be up soon.

I have 187 sites site on the 1st page, when moved from drupal to wordpress, all affected. Weeks later, they were even stronger. Google do sense your site design and sturcture.
