I was trying to leave a blog comment on a .edu blog and for some reason it never shows up after I hit submit. The first time I did it for one of my sites it worked fine and showed up after I hit the submit button, but now when I try to use that same blog to leave another backlink to my other site it never seems to take. I know the blog still accepts comments because a few days later I see new comments there so I don't know what could be the issue. I cleared my cookies and changed IP as well, but still nothing. Anyone experience this before and can let me know why this happens? |

Hey, Sounds like they have changed to manually approving comments (probably due to a high number of people leaving spam comments). Are the comments you leave of good quality? Sometimes people are very picky when it comes to approving blog comments (I know I am!). Hope that helps Thanks Eleanor |

| I doubt it they approve comment first because looking at the page early this morning I see 2 new comments and one of them has like 7 links in the actual comments to various websites and has nothing to do with the topic in the blog. I used this same blog to post like 5 days ago and my account showed up immediately. Now when I try to do it again with another comment using a different anchor text/url the submit button works, but nothing gets posted. I thought it might have something to do with restricting 1 post per IP or something so I changed my IP, cleared cookies, etc. but still can't get a new comment to show up there. |

If you are trying to post irrelevant links or just promotional links of your website why blog owner approve your comment? Blog comment means leaving something valuable with the intent of participating in the community. |
