lets say i have an article with 500 words exact i have about 5 mentions of the keyword "coffee maker reviews" in the 500 word article so the density is 1) 3 * 5 /500 = 3% 2) 5 / 500 = 1% which is correct 1 or 2?? |

Yes two is correct. It's generally best to stay between 2 to 5 percent keyword density and also have LSI keywords.

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase placed on a webpage content compared to the total number of words on the page, lots of SEO experts think the best possible keyword density have to be 1 to 3 percent.

Keyword Density can be seen as the percentage of times a keyword appears on a page when you compare it to the total number of words on the page. To work out density of a page is simple: X = number of times a word appears on the page Y = number of words on the page Word Density = X / Y x 100 |

I kind of see the confusion here for example kw phrase is Big Mean Trucks (3 words) Ok So the page has 100 words on it the kw phrase (3 word phrase ) Big Mean Trucks appears ONE time But its a three word phrase so is the kw density 1%? IMO it would be 1% or would the kw density be 3%? its easy to calculate with a one word kw 2, 3, 4 word kw phrases, how is it calculated? |
