Bad/Good for pinging site pages?

Hello guys! How does Google treat multi-ping services? How many times you ping your pages a day or a week? Did it bring good to your rankings? Is it a good practice?

Pinging your site will not help with your ranking, will only help google to discover you faster and start index.

You can also do that by pinging you backlinks and this will help your rank since biside google discover you faster it will also discover you with some backlinks.

Thanks for reminding me - Friday is my PING day for my Blog. Anybody have an opinion on pingoat? I've been using it for awhile but not really sure myself what are the best services to use?

Is pinging supposed to help backlinks get indexed also? I ping the links from AMR live links reports, but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all even after weeks.

If I would ping my backlinks, I would rather use a free but high-rated pinging tool for better results. But sometimes, letting search engines to crawl your backlinks naturally works well..

Once a site is established, google should navigate through it at least once per week. I know I see it find new links daily on my main site. Curious why people feel the need to ping their site weekly then?

My pinging tools pings the search engines once in a day and on every update.

Pinging does not rankings directly but it accelerated crawling of your new content which may improve the ranking of your new content.

i remembered someone in WF saying you need to ping more than once. in fact something like 30 over times to get google's attention. try googling for this.

I ping any site with new content immediately, otherwise, I ping all domains, sub domains, backlinks, blog posts, etc. every 3 days.

I use pingler.com.

You can do 5 a day manually for free or you can buy one of their packages and then they do it for you automatically.

I like the automatic thing because then I don't have to remember to do it.
