Home page's Title is changing

Hi,

My home page's title is changing and or removing on the server.
I can't seem to understand why this happens frequently to my site.
I reuploded several times a new fresh copy of the homepage but
several days later, I will notice from checking SERP that my title
has been removed and or changed.

What should I do? why this happens to me?
Please someone help me.

Where do you see your title is changing?

- In serp
- Or at your website (i.e. in <title></title>)

If second one probably hacked. What cms are you using?

Title is changing both from website and SERP.
My rank has been affected too.

In case my site got hacked, what should I do first?
I have changed ftp and admin password. Is there anything left that I have to do?

what cms are you using? wordpress, joomla, pure html? It's difficult to give you some advice if we do not know what is your website platform

Check your hosting for strange files, see htaccess, config files, logs. If there is an AVI run it to see what it will find

Check the code of your index file

Thanks all who replied.
Just recieved an email from the host company today and they wrote that their server was hacked entirely. Not only my site were hacked but so many of their clients were hacked. Anyways my problem solved. Thank you all so much.

Their server was hacked and your title got changed? Wow, those are some scary hackers

I'd change hosts, quickly!

Glad you got it resolved. If I were you I'd seriously consider investigating alternative hosts, as that sort of thing can heavily damage your SEO and reverse all the hard work you've done...

Just my 2 cents...

Change host ASAP, don't deal with silly things like that when your paying $$ for a host.
