Default Position Preference Using Adwords Editor?

Hi,

I have a large number of ad groups for a particular campaign and its a pain trying to set the position preference in Adwords for each ad group.

Is there a way to update the position preferences through the adwords editor?

Ron

Default Re: Position Preference Using Adwords Editor?

Hi Ron,

Unfortunately Position Preference is not supported by the AdWords Editor.

You have to manage Position Preference at the individual keyword level in the AdWords online interface. It is possible to edit position preference settings for all keywords in a single Ad Group, but no easy way to edit positions for multiple ad groups.

Sadly, this has been the sole reason that I rarely use position preference, there is no way to easily manage it unless you use a custom program with the API interface.
