Im going to promote a real estate website soon and will do the SEO works.
I am not that knowledgeable on this so I need your suggestions.

Tools like SENuke and Xrumer can get you some decent exposure, and not come across as "spammy" if used correctly.. The thing is, you still need a good knowledge of how SEO works before using automated tools.

I'm not sure about your level of expertise, but if you happen to have none, I recommend you take a month or so to learn seo in and out. Just my suggestion.

You would likely benefit more from outsourcing it.. Even with automation, it takes alot of time to do it right.

I build, and teach others how to build personal SEO tools. I have switched mostly to automation of these tasks.. Yet, I still spend time researching where and when to place my linkage.

Some good SEO tools for analyzing competition and keywords are Traffic Travis and the Google keyword tool. Simple, yet very effective if you know how to use them.

For rank tracking: Rank Tracker link-assistant.com

For Keyword Research I use adwords keyword tool and SerpIQ when I need more info about a keyword.

For backlinks: There's no single "best" tool - it depends what works for you. I absolutely hate Senuke, for example, but I know people who love it and get good results.

Instead of looking for a tool that's going to do it for you, learn what works and then find a tool that automates that specific task.

For me the only tool that I couldn't live without is scrapebox, not because of its mass posting functions but because of all its other features.

At SEO, there are multiple levels such as On Page, Off Page, and Social Media Promotion.

In order to manage On page optimization that you should go through every point by manually such as meta creation, SEO standard file creations, content optimization, Header, and Footer customization.

In order to manege Off Page optimization that ample amount of link building techniques will help you to generate back links. Below enlisted techniques are the most effective,

Badges, Widgets & Plug-ins
Product Reviews & Interviews

Quick update, one service I forgot to mention for backlink analysis is ahrefs.com. It's not as good as majestic or open site explorer, but a lot more reasonable price and still has a good database.

- do keyword research first (sem rush, word tracker, rank tracker)

then

- onpage seo (website auditor, W3 validator)

then

- link building (by hand with content creation on site, social media, guest blogging, article writing, with tools - seo spyglass for backlink discovery, link assistant for backlink management, seo nuke - only if you know how to handle this right and do some homework)

then

- rank checks and competitor tracking

reconsider keyword research if traffic drops, do onpage seo when restructuring site or when adding new sections to it, do link building always - the more the merrier, do rank checks often - to know where you stand (or set up rank tracker to automatically do SERP checks and send you reports every one in a while)

Hello,

I think,
1. Google Adwords for keyword selection.
2. Google webmaster
3. Rank tracker
4. Alexa
But, I think Google Adwords ranking tool is the best for SEO.

Hire Virtual Assistant doing SEO - $28.00 USD for the first 6 days then $180 / VA/month

There is nothing like one best tool that serves all purposes. It also depends upon what type of results you want from using a specific tool like basic, normal or advanced. Generally tools from Google, Alexa, KeywordTracker, KeywordSpy etc. are good to go with.

I agree with Mark - you still need decent knowledge of SEO to use an automated tool without being labelled as "spammy".

If you are creating content yourself you can get some great people from the Warrior Forum classifieds that can do all the linkbuilding/submissions for you and save a heap of money by not having to pay for software subscriptions and learning seo inside and out.

There are also services in the Warrior Forum classifieds that take care of everything for you and just require your keywords, then they handle content creation/linkbuilding/submissions/rank tracking.
