Fellow Warriors, I'm experiencing too much SEO complication, looking for streamlined approach. Here's my dilemma: I've been putting up affiliate sites for about 3 years now. I've learned a lot, the sites have gotten better, the niches/KWs are better chosen, and I've had some medium-to-good rankings for certain pages/KWs. I've tried various approaches to get top traffic/rankings and I'm not a "newbie." However, I still experience the process of SEO to be too complicated, requiring too many multi-attack approaches to guarantee success, and devoid of a simple, streamlined formula. Then I get 50 emails every day from marketers telling me if I really want my SEO efforts to work, I've simply got to get their new, shiny course or auto-backlinking plugin, or check out today's "WSO of the millenium," which also tells me I've been doing it all wrong and I just gotta get the next magic backlinking machine. ![]() Maybe the multi-strategy approach is a necessary evil of organic SEO, and you simply have to do a Nuke campaign + do lots of blog commenting to high PRblogs + use Scrapebox + make sure you're running good Twitter & Facebook campaigns + grab some .edu and .gov links from Angie or Paul + run some Xrumer forum profiles + run a digi-auto-backlink-creator plugin from your WP dashboard + JV-up with a bunch of these WSO sales + make sure you're building your list + + +....aaugghhh ! You get the picture.And perhaps if you're not willing do juggle all those tasks (even with an outsourcer, it's a LOT!) then perhaps you just don't belong in IM. Fair enough. But I keep hoping for one streamlined formula with just a few simple repeated tasks, that works so consistently that I can just do that over & over, not feel overwhelmed, and unsubscribe to ALL the latest offers and how-to courses. Your thoughts are welcome, thanks. |

Pages that people actually "like" seem to be doing very well these days. The golden age of link-building SEO might very well be behind us. With the new 'freshness bonus' it's probably best to blog consistent informative content for SEO. IMHO, of course |

First thing you need to do, & I'm not being sarcastic, unsubscribe to all list that tried to sell you anything in the last 7 days. Those spammy list are just that, spam. You have a bunch of options when doing SEO, just remember two simple things that are the foundation of SEO;
Master those two things & your golden. Other ways exist to seo, but I consider everything else extra credit, the above two things are the core of seo. |
