Default Adsense Problem, please help!

Hello Warriors,

My site, All About The Philippines had google ads for roughly 1 year. Yesterday, I noticed that the ads are not appearing, just blank. Previously ads appeared on my posts, but now no ads are displaying.

I contacted Google and no word from them yet. I heard that they are not fun of replying to this kind of problem.

Moreover, I have not received any email from google saying I have done anything wrong. I checked my spam folder too.

I used All in One Adsense and YPN plugin to manage my ads, I decided to deactivate it and added the adsense codes manually, still the ads are not showing.

I got the feeling that I am not alone in this kind of issue.

Please help me on this. I am worried.

Any information you may provide will be highly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Louie Tugas

My guess would be your running some other javascript on your site/page that is messing with Adsense.

Here is what I see.

I've only seen this on your site (running Google Chrome browser).

You are also using a very old, old, old adsense code.

That may or may not affect it, as others have stated some good
things. But that old code is really antiquated.

That's not even generated anymore and google does tell people
to generate the new code themselves then copy and paste it.

But those javascripts are just getting in the way of other scripts. You
may think they liven up the page, but they drag it down. If adsense
is your goal, then deep-six the other shtuff.

I also got a script error popup on firefox.(which I never get as firefox is sooooo
forgiving). I can't remember the last time I even saw that. Reminds me
of the 1990's.

Thanks a lot for this info.

I checked my site and I found out that it was my amazon affiliate products that used the Javascript.

Please, can you check my site again if you get a chance to see if I have successfully fixed the JS issue.

I now get an application that is untrusted popup.

You probably need to get rid of all of those fancy scripts/plugins
on the right. They may look pretty to you, but they really serve
no purpose. It's dragging your site down. I don't know how long
you have really been doing websites, but rookies punish their
visitors with fancy, unneeded scripts that just choke
browsers. Even in 2011.

I still see no adsense.

Here's just a snippet of your code that I was referring to:
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = "";
google_color_link = "";
google_color_bg = "";
google_color_text = "";
google_color_url = "";
google_ui_features = "rc:6";

Google will not even generate that anymore. You can actually
convert it to the new, but no need if you just create new ones.

I still get the browser popup error.

It's 1 of the 7 javascripts you have on your page (plugins, etc...).

The reason I say this is because the text version Google Cache doesn't give me the same browser error.

Thanks a lot for all your inputs warriors.

I have edited my site again, I removed those fancy stuffs on my sidebar but I did not remove the google map.

I deactivated those unnecessary plugins as well.

I am really crossing my fingers that my google ads will show up again.

Once more, a million thanks to all your replies.

Sincerely,
Louie Tugas

Hello Warriors,

Good news: I have found out the problem now. I need to enter the PIN Number.

Bad news: I am from Mindanao, Philippines and unfortunately mail delivery here sometimes sucks. I have an adsense site and the ads are not displaying until I could enter the PIN number Google has mailed me. I have been waiting for the Google’s PIN mailer.

How I wish Google will just send me the PIN information via email. (I know it’s impossible.)

I hope you can help me on this. Can I use an American address for them to deliver my PIN mailer?

Any information you may provide will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Louie Tugas

Yes and No....

You could do a Google Search for "get USA address" and you will see a lot of great options for what you want to do.

Your problem right now is Google will make you convert your Adsense country from the Philippines to the USA, which you probably do not wish to do. (They might even make you close your existing account and open a new one.)

Right now you are eligible for payment by Western Union Quick Cash once you have your PIN since you are in the Philippines. If you switch to the USA that option goes away and you'll be stuck with checks being forwarded to you.

Hello Barry,

I really thank you for this "kick butt" reply.

I noticed that you are from Pampangga, Philippines.

Actually, I have a friend in the US, I can ask his address so that the PIN mailer will be sent to his address. I guess it's a bad idea based from what you have said.

Yeah, Western Union Quick Cash is my method of payment.

Have you tried requesting for a PIN number and your location is in the Philippines too?

I am crossing my fingers that I could sort this out sooner rather than later.

Sincerely,
Louie Tugas

Good for you, rosesmark.

I know the problem now, it's my PIN number. I haven't received yet the Google's PIN mailer.

Hello Lee,

I have decided to request for another PIN number. Moreover, I will ask my friend from the US to send me any mail using the address I used in my adsense account to see if I could receive that mail too.

Thanks a lot Warriors, you are the best.

Sincerely,
Louie Tugas
