Hello! 20 days ago I've both a new domain, I've write an article for the front page, put the link on some forum signatures and on some of my other sites (about 200 backlinks). Until yesterday my site appeared on google if I search like mysite.extension but today if I do the same search the site does not appears. Do you think that is google dance or sand box? |

The site was first indexed in google with the help of registar, without any of my content. The site has only one page, the front one; and has the age of 20 days. I've build about 200 backlinks to get indexed. Until yesterday my site was indexed with the information given by registar (a simple registered domain with registar adds). Today the site disappeared from google! Did you experienced anything like this? |

I've been reading about google sand box on this forum and on other something does not add up. Google can't penalize a site for two many backlinks in a short amount a time, because if he did then we all just use 10 or more automated back link tools and blast 5000 or more backlink a day to any of our competitors and they will get sand boxed without doing anything wrong!!No? I think this is just google dance and in a few days all will turn to normal! |

Did any of you guys even read the OP? All this crazy advice and most of you would not know a sandbox if you were standing in one with sand in your shoes. The site is 20 days old...... Your site is 20 days old, nothing you see at this point matters at all. If you do nothing at all or if you build links your site is going to possibly be indexed then not, ranking and then not. This is normal for a new site, no sandbox required Google has not decided anything about your site yet. Anything you see in first three months or so is subject to change and is basically just smoke and really does not mean anything. When I start a new site I do not even bother looking at the rankings for the first three months. None of it really means anything so why bother wasting time worrying about something that is just smoke. Plan out your link and content building for the next couple of months and then do it, when you get close to being done check and see how you are doing and make any adjustments and then make a new plan etc etc. Instead of stressing about the normal ups and downs of a brand new site make yourself a plan and then do some research and spend that energy building yourself another site. You will be less stressed and make more money than if you waste your time and energy stressing about the normal ups and downs of a brand new site. | |

I would also wait a few weeks to see what happen. As ARVolund state, at the begin nothing is sure for 100%

| It;s too early to speak about google dance or sandbox. Just keep doing on your site, create content and backlinks. Also, keep doing on traffic. 20 days is too short time for anything serious, don't worry |

When your site is under 3 months old then the dance can be crazy. From first page to out of 1000. It is normal, the rankings will settle more after 3 months.

This isn't a penalty, it's google dance. Happened to every single website I've ever made. On average it lasts 10 days or so. Make sure you put more content in and you do steady backlinking while it lasts, and it will shoot up pretty fast once it's out of the dance period. Best of luck |
