Interesting, so does this mean that high valued websites get even more exposure? That would some of us marketers a hard time right? Your thoughts paul? |

Hi I dont think they are aiming for that, they are trying to get fresh relevant sites/content for specific searches. The funy thing is though, I have found that on some of my sites the less updated ones do better than the ones I reguarly update but I guess it also depends on what you are pushing. What they are doing is when a surfer searches for lets say "The news" I have often found that google will sometimes bring up news sites or articles which are way out of date and happened a year ago instead of bringing up new "News Items" I think this will make updating sites with new content way more important though. thats my take on it anyway Heres some more reading on it http://searchengineland.com/google-s...searches-99856 | |

I am very happy with this update. All of my highly competitive keyword sites jumped from page 2 or 3 to #1. All of these sites are updated once a week like clockwork and it payed off. Lets see how long this last. |

It's a "normal" update. They should have done that before. But in general, it's getting harder for business because there are lots of uncertainties now with SEO and Search engine traffic. Even though you are doing it the right way, your traffic can drop and business ruin. |
