Well, I had a little case study I did a few weeks ago. I saw that there was a huge launch coming up in a week so I decided that I wanted to promote it.. Day1 - Registered the domain with the keyword in it.... Developed the site, Added reviews, Images, so on.... Submitted my site to this URL Internet Marketing & SEO Forum - IMT Website Submitter Day2 - I created a youtube video about the product and so on and uploaded it to youtube. After uploading to youtube, i bought a fiverr gig for 500 social bookmarks for both the site and youtube video 2 hours later, Both, my site and video were on the first page. Not even kidding. If you are not using social bookmarks to do SEO, you are really missing out. |

Thanks for sharing Harry. Though it's relative to your niche. In many niches this wouldn't have any impact at all. It will all depend on how competitive the market is.

Thanks for the tips. How competitive was the keyword for the YouTube video, as in monthly search volume? Is it worth using IMT submitter even if you already use SocialMonkee? |

Thanks for the tip. I didn't really think social bookmarks were a great back-linking strategy. I thought they were best to get your site indexed...but you def made me think twice. Thanks bro. -Omar |

| Just wondering, with the 500 social bookmarks, do they just plaster your url on as many different places as they can, no PR cited in the deal?

I've been using this since it came out :P I even mentioned it once via a post that got deleted later. My suggestion is just to keep it at a minimum of 50 to 100 statistic websites per website. That's all you really need. |
