Arrow SEOLinkVine Elite Review

If anyone's interested, I thought I'd share my experience with SEOLinkVine Elite so far.

Note that this is not the regular SEOLinkVine (cost around $67/mo) which is a network of blogs owned and moderated by other members. This is SEOLinkVine ELITE, which costs over $500/month for the VIP or higher levels.

This is pricey, but we all know that already. What made me decide to try it was the automation. The service is supposed to automatically feed blog posts to a network of high-quality blogs. (If you are a VIP or Super VIP member, they are also supposed to be sent to blogs that aren't available to the Basic members.) In addition, the VIP/Super VIP members are supposed to get a certain number of Home page links on these sites each month.

So far, I've been REALLY frustrated with the whole service.

1. The automation doesn't work. At least it doesn't for me. After a week of waiting for my Home page links to appear, I was told that the system that creates them "got an error." I am still waiting for someone to manually add them for me.
Am I going to have to go through this every month?

2. The automated blog feeds don't seem to be working either... I've been waiting for my posts to show up anywhere, but no luck so far.

3. The quality of the sites is pretty bad. Not only are the lion's share of the blogs either zero or NO PageRank -- pretty disappointing for a "super exclusive blog network of ONLY high Page Rank websites" (their wording, not mine) that costs over $500/month -- but many of the blogs in the manual network have been de-indexed from Google. So, even if you manually post to a "high PR" blog, there's a good chance that Google won't even see it.
I believe these "manual posting" blogs are also used for the automated posting. And surprisingly, most of the de-indexed blogs are the ones in the VIP network... the blogs reserved for the people paying over $500/month.

So far, the "automation" of SEOLinkVine Elite has gotten me nothing. Literally nothing. The only links I've gotten are the ones I have posted manually. And this services is WAY too pricey just for unreliable access to a series of blogs that I have to post to one-by-one. Plus, I am nervous that the best blogs will be de-indexed any minute.

In another thread a WF member said that he knows someone who raves about the service. I don't know why anyone would be raving about this SEOLinkVine Elite... unless it's because the problems in the system has driven them raving mad.

This is the first time I have ever posted (and don't even remember what my original email was when I first registered, thus the DoriFriend2 username lol) but when I saw this post, it commanded a response from me since I am the one who manages SEOLinkVine Elite.

First, I want to start by apologizing to phildale for any and all frustration you are experiencing due to our service, believe me, that is NOT what we want to hear or cause!!

Point 1: We have experienced server down time which has caused our automated blogroll (homepage) script not to work on the sites that are affected by that server. We just migrated them to that server that has velociraptor drives (what a name huh!) and should solve server overload issues that caused the downtime. And yes, in the meantime, we have two full time staff members adding links to the affected sites manually as fast as they can. The migration and database composure should be done by the end of the week, so all should be back to normal by next week.

Point 2: Except for the sites that are affected by the above serverload issue, there should NOT be a problem in POST automation (different then blogroll link posting as above) and you should be getting notifications of links posted in your reports section. Please contact us at the support desk so we can look at your account!

Point 3: It is true, and is the nature of blog networks, there is ALWAYS a chance that blogs will loose pagerank or blogs will be manually reviewed and de-indexed. We ARE taking steps to increase our pagerank retention but unfortunately have no control over a manual review.

It is NOT true that the lions of sites in the manual network are zero or No PageRank. In our sales material, we promise 500 sites, but in reality we have 1003 in the manual network and the vast majority do has PR. :-)

I do need to drop some more PR5s/PR4s in there to compensate for the ones we just retired and or lost PR on. I also like to see at least 1 PR6 in there as well. So we will work on that. :-)

And, we did already have in plan to dump in another 500 sites by early next month. :-)

Also, it is absolutely NOT true that we automate into the manual network. We automate into networks of 500 that are totally separate and are NOT available for manual posting. We keep them completely separate.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding, and phildale, I hope you contact us about your article posting automation and or anything else that is frustrating you. We take customer support very seriously and have 4 staff members working around the clock to make you happy.

Sincerely and Respectfully,

Dori Friend

Hi Dori,

SEOLinkVine Elite appears to have been devastated recently by massive de-indexing. I'm sick over all the hours of manual posting that are now worthless. What's the plan going forward? Can the system be salvaged?

One thing I would eliminate in future networks is the blogroll. That definitely ups the junk factor and it has to be a red flag when some people post 10 links to the same site on the same blog. Seems like an Achilles heel to me.

for $500 there seems to be a lot of "issues" with the network. For that coin I would be asking for a refund while its not working. Theres no way you can charge $500 for a half arsed service.

De-indexing does happen periodically and while devastating for most networks, we have sites in reserve that we migrate onto. :-)

I have also some bad experience with SEOLinkVine Elite that's why I don't totally use them nowadays. But it seems that other networks like BMR are still strong. So, as other says, don't keep all your eggs on one basket

I agree. I've used SEOLinkVine before and while I don't have any major problems with it, it doesn't seem to be nearly as effective as BuildMyRank.

I'm almost at the point of being done with them, just looking around for replacements. A few complaints about the SEONitro and Elite SEOLinkVine networks:

Seems like no matter how I try to Apply or Re-Apply to sites for login/passwords, I can never log into about half of the sites.

About 40-60% of the sites were down at any given time anyway. Email them and ask why? "Migrating server," which has been the same answer for at least the last 8 months without the sites coming back live.

You get 10 blogroll links per month with your membership. Problem is, 70% of the blogroll links I tried to add never appeared on the websites. Email them asking why? They said they'd fix it, but didn't fix a single one that I can tell (and now most of the sites were removed from the networks anyway). Out of 140 blogroll links I added throughout a year, 99 of them didn't show up on the sites or the sites were down/gone. And I made absolutely sure at the time I submitted the blogroll link that the site I was submitting to was up and not loaded with dozens of already-existing links.

They just (this past week) went from about 2,500 sites on Elite SEOLV and SEONitro to 686 total. I'm trying to update my list, but it seems like at least half of these 686 sites are currently unavailable (browser never loads the site, although I can access any other site on the web I try that is outside of their network).

The automated networks are completely separate, but everyone who subscribes to the automated networks gets access to the same manual submission network. With 8 automated networks (on SEOLV), this means there are ~400 people able to submit to the same manual network. The odds your post stays on the home page of any given site so that Google can crawl it is extremely small.

Even when I check the daily posting done through the automated network (reports are provided by the services), a fair number (25%) of the sites seem to be down! What? Why does the software report the post as being submitted to a site that is clearly down? And give me a perma-link to a post that obviously doesn't exist?

On the positive side, they have always emailed me back quickly when I have a concern. I know other people have complained about it, but my experience has been good.

To sum up:
+ Good customer service
+ Automated networks provide daily posting reports
- Half the sites are always down
- Half of the remaining sites you won't be able to log into
- 70% of your blogroll links will never appear
- The time your post/links appear on a home page is extremely small

So I don't know. Some of these seem like such simple issues. If a site is down for 3 months, take it out of the list. Make sure the apply/re-apply links work to get logins, or if the site is not allowing anymore logins, take it out of the list. Make sure the blogroll function works, or only put sites that still allow blogroll links in the list and take the rest out. But, over a year, all of these have remained as ongoing issues.

If they open the networks again, and you're reading the sales page and considering buying, take my advice:
1. Multiply the size of the network by .25 to get the percent that is actually working at any given time.
2. Multiply the monthly blogroll links by .25 to get the percent that will actually appear.

If they would fix these issues, I'd have no problem with the networks. De-indexing isn't their fault. Having tons of sites routinely/permanently down, more sites that you can never log into, and non-working functions like blogroll links is their fault.

I'm *really* surprised to hear that you didn't get a reply from our support department. Our support staff at http://elite.seolinkvine.com/support.php has an average response time of less than 4 hours. Usually quicker, if the time of the submitted ticket isn't in the middle of the night (US time). Can you send me a PM here with your support ticket ID and I"ll make sure that I personally look at this for you.

Second... yes, sites have been de-indexed, like many other networks out there. But this is definitely not true in saying that "all" sites are deindexed. Please stop spreading rumors. We just emailed all current members about all of the MAJOR updates we've done to the network, changes we've made, and important info about Google's latest updates. If you're still a member, you should have received this email.

2 months ago when 50+ sites got de-indexed i received the same auto reply answer every time as i did recently!

"We are now repopulating the network as fast as we can with our reserved inventory in addition to newly purchased aged/pr domains. Please bear with us during this process."

the diff now is YES all the sites in the network have been de-indexed!
I would be happy to send anyone a list to verify this.

as of today you are still accepting customers on a network of de-indexed sites.
Why have they not be removed to mitigate the damage?

None were replaced in Feb or march!

so why don't you process the $497 refund i requested for feb and march. for a network that couldn't be used. I have paid you guys over $5000 in linkvine elite!

Oh and the guarantee of your links be remain permanently after you a customer for a year? how do you handle that one?

you need to close all your affected networks to unsuspecting new customers ASAP !

Hi,
I just sent you a private message here in the forum to get some personal information from you (receipt, support ticket ID, etc). Can you please check that and get back to me?

Regarding closing the doors to SEOLinkVine ELITE (which is what you're referring to), the doors have been closed to NEW members for a few months now, well before any Google updates.

sorry for any confusion. please check your PM and we'll get your account all sorted for you.
