Default Google Adwords: Squeeze Pages

i have a dilema

i am hiring someone to write a nice squeeze page for me to help me build up a optin mailing list.

however, in my limited experience with google adwords, i feel like they won't let you send traffic to a sub-page of a blog, only the primary URL.

will google adwords allow you to send direct ppc traffic to a mainurl.com/page1 and not just a mainurl.com/ ?

if they won't, how do people use ppc to increase optins?

You are mistaken you can direct traffic to whatever subdomain URL you desire. Although the display URL will need to be shown as the main.

Over the last couple of months and arguably for all of time Google has been taking things up and will no longer allow landing pages without several alternative exit points to various pages within the site.

Hey there,

You can set the destination URL to whatever you'd like, as long as the display URL gives an accurate representation of the destination URL (usually just the main URL is best)

If you can't fit the entire display URL, try removing the "www". If this still doesn't fit then Google will let you shorten the display URL, as long as it's still a true representation of the original URL (e.g. if your URL is thisismorethan35characters, then Google should let you shorten it to 35characters). If this is disapproved by Google then you'll need to seek manual approval by Google.

Hope this helps.
