Will page ranking helps in ranking my site keywords top in search engines.?

Hi, i could see my site has got page rank today. Google has updated the page rank i think. My question is will there be an increase or ranking of my site keywords on top of search engines.

Since i came to know that page rank of a site helps in pushing the keywords on top of google.

As time goes on. Page rank is becoming more and more less important in the eyes of Google. when once it was dramatically important to have high page rank This is no longer the case although it shows a increasing your exposure overall , so congratulations are in order.

Well, PR contribute negligibly in your rankings this is why representatives of Google always tell webmasters to focus on other metrics like SERP rankings, conversion rate and ROI etc.
