SEO Spyglass and Yahoo Backlinks

I use seo spyglass to analyze my competition but for some time it does not display backlinks from yahoo, since yahoo stopped the site explorer service. I would like to know if there's any other way to get my competitors backlinks in yahoo.

I have never found a tool that reliably reports links - ever!

The best you can hope for is 'good enough' for your purposes. These tools are only tapping into the same mechanisms already available, so they are always subject to breaking when other systems they rely on change.

i agree with andyhenry. the tools that display links are not complete. all they do is give you a guage. for example if yahoo employer is showing a competitor with 150 links and it is showing your site with only 50 links you know you have to do some catching up. in reality they could of thousands!

case in point majestic verses yahoo's findings

Hmmm, strange, my seo spyglass works fine and gets yahoo data.

Have you unchecked Yahoo API (Preferences - Search Engine API Keys)?
