Adsense Approval

I applied for an adsense account two months ago. My dashboard still says "your account is under review" Is this typical? How long does the approval process take?

They've changed the approval process recently. I'm not sure, but I think you now have to reach a certain amount in earnings which will trigger the review.

It's a Little difficult to have earnings if they don't approve the account.
