Hi Warriors, I've been reading controversial opinions about having the post titles in all CAPS, so I decided to test it myself. I changed all my post titles to uppercase 1 week ago and I still don't see the change reflected in the Google result page. Is it just matter of time or does Google ignore that? Thanks! D |

I don't think that the capitalization of your title matters. Two things tho: 1. Has google crawled your page yet? Google the url and check to see when it was last cached 2. Your post title is not your title tag. I'm guessing you're using WP and All in One SEO, so make sure you've changed the title in the plugin so that it's the title Google displays Why would I capitalize words? Click-through rates. Capitalizing everything is a bit obnoxious in my mind, but capitalizing one or two words could effectively increase your CTR which in turn could potentially help your rankings. P.S. Sort of off-topic but Darren Slatten has done some pretty cool studies with meta descriptions and has some cool data on it and making appealing descriptions -> SEO Mofo » World’s Greatest SEO |

Just wait for it. It means Google just hasn't re-crawled your site yet.

that was exactly the issue - I changed the post title on the SEO section and now Google displays it all CAPS. Gooplex, I know that Google searches are case-insensitive, the all CAPS is to try increasing the SERP click-through. Thanks!

Here is a direct link the SeoMofo's snippet tool, so you can test what you do right away without having to wait for it be indexed: Google SERP Snippet Optimization Tool --- I also found this complete guide on writing a meta description very useful: Writing Meta-Descriptions: The Complete Guide | Coconut Headphones Specifically on capitalization the article claims: Quote:
Combining those two URLs you should be able to produce a good meta description. I'm going to work on changing mine too after reading through.

Lmao ....There's absolutely no difference if it caps or no caps.Google treats both the same.I wonder why there would be any controversy with it.Some people just churn out theory cuz they are bored.
