No, nothing will happen.

My brother had his Adsense account approved over a year ago & just recently (3 months) got around to actually monetizing with Adsense on Youtube.

If you are not using adsense then you should remove all websites from the allowed websites list. This will ensure that a click bombing does not occur at all. If you are not checking stats regularly it may get unnoticed.
