Trying to figure out why I don't show up in google places?

Hi. My families business is Shadow Jewelers in Yonkers. If I google "Yonkers Jeweler", I am number 1 in the organics. But I don't show up at all in the places section...

Anyone out there know why this is and how I can fix it?

Had you put your business in Google Places for Business? If not, you should do it first.

Yeah. I'm on there. I come up for other searches in local, but not yonkers jeweler. Which is probably the most important one.

Submit some directories to get better results.

Google local rankings depends on various localized factors like distance of your listing from user's location etc.

- Add a brief description about your business
- Add Google photograph in your listing
- Get citations for your listings
- Build your website (Its not mandatory but it can help in driving good leads)
