How do you find blogs to guest post on?

Hey guys,

I am looking for ways to find blogs to guest post my articles on....I know about My Guest Blog but are there any more forums/sites/ways to find blogs that will accept guest posts?

How do you find them? Do you use this method? I think it is very powerful both for natural backlinks if there is such a thing and traffic as well.

Go to Google, select more and in the drop down choose 'Blogs'. In the search box, type in "write for us" and hit enter. There other variations that blogs use to requite guest bloggers, but I can't thin of them right now. Just see what you can come up with and you should have a never ending supply.

If you are looking for certain niches, type a '+' and the keyword, with no space between them. If the keyword has multiple words it would be best to put them in the double quotes.

Yes, Press Releases continue to dominate despite the Panda Update. However its advised to spin your press release before submission so that each PR is unique looking, that helps A LOT.

I just go to technorati and other blog directories where I can find blogs that has the same niche as mine then if then I'll pick a high quality blog where I can do guest blogging.

Believe it or not, I find myself writing articles all the time all over again and not spinning, maybe I should really, would save a lot of time and effort but how good will they be spun?

Any chance you provide a list with free press release sites which allow to publish links as well?

I've found that different niches operate much differently with regards to guest posting. What niche is your website? Or are you looking for a guest posting strategy that will work for a network of sites across several niches?

Finding blogs to guest post for should be pretty easy. As the other people have said, use Google blog search or Google News and then search for sites that talk about your niche. Then take a good look at the sites and study their writing style, audience, etc. Contact the publisher and ask if they'd be interested in taking a guest post from you. Point at other examples of posts you've done to demonstrate your abilities as a writer. Then produce a great article that helps make the host site look better.

I want to us guest blogging for link building mostly as it is a good way to build links from text and one that Google loves...no specific niche, to all my sites.

"keyword phrase" + "guest article"

"keyword phrase" + "guest blog"

This should give you what you are looking for

Try competitive backlink analysis as well. Look at your competitor's backlinks - they likely have a guest post or a few. This gives you a site to write for a good way to catch up and surpass your SERP competitors.

Both you and your guest blogger can cut through the clutter and find the right partners to reach your goals of posting articles to each other. Thus, it is one way to drive traffic and building backlinks.

Disqus is the better stage for you which provide the facility for guest blogging and it is so much effective for the results. As i have used this for my site.
And if you want to find the site that has provide the facility to comment with disqus and also that are relevant to your topic then this is the way you can find the sites : your keyword blog comments "powered by disqus"
But when you provide the interesting stuff then only people are going to click on your link. And if you get any reply for your comment then be responsive to people as it will provide the more effective results.
