Hi there, Just a quick newbie question: When using SEOQUAKE, one website shows 34,200,000 as a value for Google Index. What does that mean? Does it mean that this website has 34,200,000 pages all indexed by Google? I am a total newbie! So plz bear with me here ![]() Regards |

Technically less, but I'd hazard a guess that a lot of these would be in the supplemental index. Try clicking on the Index number in the SEOquake plugin, this should launch a site: search in google for that domain, and you can confirm the number.

Thanks for the tip. The site I am talking about is sites.google.com/site/lethalcommissionreview It ranks number 5 for the keyword "Lethal Commission" and number 2 for "lethal commission review" on Google! I am quite surprised by this! And its created using google sites! This site has a total of 14 pages only and no backlinks at all. I am just trying to reverse-engineer this thing! Do share your thoughts about this mystery here... |

Try to use "site:your url" on Google, just to make sure it has the correct counts. And if this correct maybe that websites got a huge linking in the net.
