Default No love from Google..

Hey guys,

I've been building a site over the last few months. I made a post awhile back talking about how I built my site too thin but I have been working on that and it's going well.

HOWEVER... I am getting NO love from Google! I am seeing hundreds of uniques daily from Yahoo and Bing but just a couple from the big G. My rankings for Yahoo and Bing are all between 1-5 for my keywords but google are 50+.

The site is only 3 months old at this point, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I've tried consulting many people and haven't really came to a conclusion. Help me warriors!

Thanks,
Jon

I think three months is still early, give it at least six months to make a conclusion.

Just make sure to keep adding quality content to it, getting good rankings can take time.

That's really interesting Jon I've been getting opposite results. So I guess we'll need a collaborative effort to take over the world :P

Thanks for all of the responses!

Funny, thats the answer I always get when asking about this problem. People not being able to rank on Yahoo and Bing. My only ideas I have are that either I need to wait longer and add more content or it's due to the domain containing a couple of the keywords which apparently Bing+Yahoo like.

Sorry but I won't be sharing the URL.

As you said in 3 months you manage to rank in lower search engines such as Yahoo and Bing but where the competition is bigger you will rank in time.

A way to promote a blog is to submit blog to BlogsAvenue.Com and another site for blog submission is BlogrollCenter.Com.

May I ask what those methods are? Please don't feel offended that I don't want to share the URL.

Thanks, this is what I'm working towards. We'll see what happens.

The homepage consists of roughly 800 words. Among the several keywords there's probably about 1% - 3% but that is just an estimate as the article was written for the user to read, not the search engine.
