[Help]230 Backlinks drop to 55 in one day

Dear
My website has 230 backlinks from 1 month ago,and the backlink always around 230. But today it decrease to 55, even though It's still 230 yesterday. I use Yahoo site explorer. Don't know what happend??

BTW, my keyword get rank#26 ,how to move it to page 1. I create backlink everyday,but can not indexed all.

I noticed this as well with Yahoo Site Explorer. Most of my sites lost half their reported links in YSE. No obvious changes in Yahoo Rank though.

FYI, YSE began shutting down on 11.11.11. You can only access it if you know the url, I suppose this decrease in reported links is part of that shutdown.

This often happens and there could be so many reasons like the your backlinks might be removed by their webmasters or the sites you got links from became outdated or lost from the index as well.

i think u didn't check clearly, but it happens when algorithm changes

Yahoo Site Explorer is closing down. The numbers there are now irrelevant, so I wouldn't worry about it.
