IMO, all steps have a high possibility to be considered as spam....What I usually do is I always put my name at the bottom of my comment (though I already have it in the name form) and I will add some signature that sound something like a profession that relates to my keyword and I will make that as an anchor text. It goes something like this (assuming that my keyword is "online marketing"):

[Everything about a certain topic have discussed properly. It will surely help others who will read this one.

Myname
Online marketing analyst/Consultant]

Get my point? Hope it helps you...Cheers!

If you're talking about adding a comment to someone's blog this won't result in the link being considered dofollow.

What do you mean by "posting a message" on someone's website?

Step 3 - because this is an anchor link with absence of "nofollow" attribute.

If you're referring to commenting on blogs, I wouldn't do it this way. Your approval rate will be VERY low. Most blog owners hate it when people leave comments with their URL in the comment itself.

Most blogs have a designated "Website" or "URL" field for you to enter your URL. Use this instead. Your "Name" will be displayed as a clickable link to your website.

If you're worried about anchor text, you can mix it up a bit. For example, "James From NFL Trading Cards," or, "The NFL Trading Card Guru." Just be creative. Your approval rate will still not be as high as it would if you were to just use a name, though. But it will be a LOT higher than putting your URL into the comment itself.
