Okay, so my site previously ranked on page 1 or page 2 for all my keywords. The keywords were all local business related (ie. london plumbers, manchester plumbers etc.). The exact page would rank on page 1 or 2, with the home page being ranked on page 5 or something like that. Now, my exact pages are nowhere to be see, but my home page still sits back on page 5 unchanged. Why would my location specific pages have disappeared from the SERPs, but my homepage is unchanged? This has now been the situation for almost 2 weeks. All the pages are still indexed, but just not ranking.

There have been some algorithm changes going on that have been affecting a lot of people's websites. Yours may have gotten affected too or maybe it is just dancing. Continue to do what you normally do and don't worry about it too much. You may want to up the quality of your content and backlinks though.

From what you say , it seems you might have got a -50 penalty, as its now on page 5. It could be something to do with your content. Keep pushing unique content and keep building links , you should be fine |

Google Panda is always on the watch. If you are doing SEO the wrong way, now is the time to reverse it. Google is always checking sites and your will be back on track as soon as you do the right strategy.
