Default Content network ads vs. search?

Is there a way to find out which advertisers advertise on the content network versus search for certain keywords? I have a very targeted site that is not showing any of the ads for a particular keyword that are shown on Spyfu, so I'm thinking that they're only advertising on the search results, but would love a way to check that.

Thanks.
