If i'm getting articles written for my site to publish as content, should I be using different articles to post on my blog and submit to article directories? Or can I just use the same ones for both and google won't punish me for duplicate content

As far as you are controlling the contents, post unique or spinned version of articles on each different source.

One piece of advice is to let Google index it as your content first. So wait a week or 2 after posting the content on your blog to post it out to other sites.

Publish the articles on the site that you want your traffic to come to first. Then, once it is indexed by Google, you can submit the same version of the articles to other places.

Create good content for your owwn sites. Spin cheap crap for directories. Never mix the two. If you spin and syndicate your money site content you devalue it.

| You can submit your article on multiple article directories and for this google will not penalised your site. But do not put the same content on your site and on different pages as it will consider as the copied content. But yes if you have the separate blog related site then by providing the source link of your site , you can post the same article.

There's different opinions as to what people think Google is "okay with". Personally, I think that you use your best stuff for your website, and then spun/outsourced articles to the directories.

I too feel like this, You should publish best content on your website then use spinned articles for directories and other blogs.

If you are just submitting for backlinks then you will get more backlinks from a wider range of sites if you write great content. Sure, some autoblogs will scrape your article but the quality sites which will give you quality links will have some quality control in place to make sure they only use quality content from article directories. This then leads to an alternate traffic source.

I would advise you to submit different content on article directories. Reason... If, by chance, your article gets indexed first followed by indexing of your website... Google will assume that your website has copied content from article directories and filter pages of your website from search results and display articles instead. |

Rubbish! What search would return the article directory's instead of the blog's? It needs to be a specific search. Google will take on-site and off-site SEO into account and will return the best result, not the first published. |

My advice would be don't use same content for your blog and to submit in the directories. If you really want to then Publish content at your Blog First. |

You must use the different contents of articles because if you use the same contents than it might be possible that you will be marked as a spammer and the google will banned your site from the search engine.
