Free anonymous proxies

A lot of SEO tools allow you to use proxies. This is a good thing as it:


1. Hides your IP addresses.
2. Helps prevent you getting banned from sites that detect traffic from a single IP address.

The best solution is to use a paid proxy or VPN service, but if you are on a tight budget, aka "cheapshakate", then the following sites will help.

The most useful source I've found is:

What I do is check:

Protocol:

HTTP,HTTPS

Anonymity:

Medium, High, High +KA

Speed

Medium,Fast

Connection time

Medium, Fast

By default, live refresh is enabled, which will update the list ever minute or so.


Another good source for anonymous proxies is:

Free Proxy List Every 30 Minutes!

Remember that anonymous proxies are better than transparent proxies as they hide your source IP address.

I consider the following basic information. Never use public proxies for scrapebox etc blasts go private proxies all the way. The success rate with public proxies will be dismal. And if you're scraping the search engines for information you must absolutely make sure, for yourself, the public proxies are not passing your ip.

How can one check that?? i.e. the public proxies are not passing my ip :S
