site indexed but not all cached?

Hey guys...

I have a site which is up around 3 weeks or so and only recently it was all indexed as I checked Google with site:my doamin.com

But, not all pages are cached. The home page is not cached, some inner pages did get cache and some not and the ones that did were cached last week...since then I've changed them a little but I see it still from last week.

Anyhow, there are links to the sites and to the home page....what else can I do?

As per my experience , google index pages only which it found more meaningful and holding the useful content. So make your home page more interesting and provide some information that be helpful for the people and after that when google crawl your site find the changes by the observation as you done before.

Only three weeks? Give it more time man...

Give it some more time. Google, mostly, index sites fast but takes time to show their cached version.

OK, sounds about right....but why do some pages got cached and some did not like the home page? That's strange, no?

Also, no ranks yet not even in top 1,000 places...and I have linked to it with the anchor texts...guess I'll keep building links and wait, hope for good news...so far never had these kind of problems ever with my previous sites and there are quite a few...

I guess you're right...just never had a site that was not ranked for so long (long for me)...always all my sites got a rank pretty fast...could be the competitive niche?
