Market Samurai stuck at "Loading Google Traffic Estimator"

I have been having this problem for a few days now and have an open ticket. I was just curious if this was a widespread problem or if it is just me. It's super frustrating as the weekend is when I do most of my work and I wanted to do some research for long tail keywords for my SENuke campaigns.

Anyways, is anyone else having this problem?

Market Samurai is a resource hog. You need lots of RAM and a fast connection. Some updates seem to make it work better than others. Best advice is check that you have enough RAM. Try to use a faster connection and hope for the day when they hire a programmer who can give it a more efficient architecture. Don't give up on it, but you definitely want a backup plan for the days when their latest update doesn't work well.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think that's the issue. It isn't working on my home computer or my VPS. Do you use it? Are you able to get it past the Loading Google Traffic Estimator right now?

I've been using MS for years and I've had this happen before. Here is my theory:

It seems as though this is from Googles end. Most of the time the traffic estimator and other functions work just fine. Other times it freezes. If you wait a day or two it comes back and works just fine.

Often you will notice if you quit out of MS and reload it there will be an update. sometimes it is an update because of a change in Google that the MS guys have to account for.

Just wait a day or two and it will work just fine.

Edit. Woops, I just way that you have already been waiting a couple of days. YEAH> Definitely put in a support ticket like you did. But like I said, it's usually on Google's end. The guys at MS are really good so they'll fix it for ya.

Just gave my MS a whirl, and it's working fine.

I believe sometimes google bans your IP from accessing their api for google keyword tool.

I say relax for a few and try again later

I think it might actually be my account, LOL. I do this all behind MS' proxies as well as HMA VPN. I just tried to do the research after removing my Google account from the settings area and after typing in a captcha the results came through.

Hopefully it isn't a permanent ban

1.MS always does that. Its slow as Hell on kw searching. I dont use it for that
I just use the google kw tool directly, thats 100 times faster

I only use MS to analyze Google top 10 (SEO key), thats only about 30 secs per kw, and works great

you could always uninstall it and re install it
make sure you install the updates, that helps often

I have the same problem but usually if I close it and re-open it then eventually loads. As rhinocl says it would be really good if they could get a programmer who speeds the whole thing up.

I also find their rank tracker really slow every time I use the program without fail.

Still a great product, just frustratingly slow sometimes.

MS is very sensitive, LOL
I do hate every time I open it , it has a new update

I have not accepted downloading the update for about 2 wks now
got tired of that

Same here, I'm stuck on the traffic analyzer. Sent them a tweet @NobleSamurai hope they can fix it asap because it's very frustrating!

Hey guys, got a tweet back from their support team: "Hi Francois - we've just released another update to fix this issue. Can you please try updating again? ^RJ" - updated it and it's now working on my side! Give it a shot
