backlinks largely decreased.Google new update?

I have checked the backlinks of my sites and seen the amount was largely decrease.Do you meet this kind of situation?Is that Google new update?I mainly creating backlinks by article submission to article directories,is that the fact?BTW,what do you use to check your sites' backlinks?

Google new updates has taken a lot in to consideration, and so we need to reshape our website ideas.

I have also noticed a drop in backlinks. Unfortunately some of my niche sites also took a slight drop. Not all of them, but some of them. It seems like Google's always up to something!

I am also worried about backlinks as yahoo is displaying very less backlinks then before. Similarly backlinkwatch is also displaying only 1000 backlinks, But google webmaster tool is displaying more then 15000 backlinks.

I dont understand which one is tell the right numbers of backlinks...

Now I use GG webmaster tool,it's good to use now.

My sites always go up in rankings after each update. I thank Google so much for these updates because the crappy sites get tossed and I get to enjoy my paychecks. Thank you Google!!

maybe they not dropped, but because there is no Yahoo Site explorer available again. so, the backlinks is there but doesnt get indexed by other search engines

I think Google occasionally clean the house and drop those worthless links

If you think it is because of Google update, maybe you need to check Google webmaster tools for your backlinks.

	"TAKE ACTION" is the first thing everyone tells you and then they leave it at that. I'll add a second part: TRACK EVERYTHING" - It's the only way to ensure your ACTION leads to results.
