Is Facebook as good as Google adwords for providing ROI? We have an adwords budget - performs OK. I am wondering if it is better to split it up to do a bit on Facebook also. Your thoughts appreciated. |

Definitely not. Facebook users aren't exactly in the "buying mood". When people are on facebook, they're just looking to laugh and have fun, they're not ready to spend money.

Depends on the niche, don't expect sales for niches like make money online etc.,

Facebook is known by most people as a good source of entertainment. That's what they think of Facebook. So I wouldn't recommend it because you might waste your time to this unless you have a very interesting thing to show Facebook users. However, you could still try other social networking sites like twitter. |

I have two - 1. Solar panels 2. Hair Products I think both of them could potentially be good but especially Hair Products as it is an everyday item and is something people forget to buy sometimes. I was wondering if anyone had any similar metrics for everyday products and how it weighs up with adwords? Is it possible to limit by region on Facebook like you can in Adwords? |

It really depends on the niche. The cost of clicks on many competitve keywords in Adwords is now very high compared with a few years ago. As yet many Facebook users are not active buyers. However this really needs testing for your own niche. I suggest you split your PPC budget between both Adwords and Facebook ads and compare results over at least a month.

| Personally i don't think facebook is as good as Adwords because of the nature of traffic. On Facebook people go for social networking not for buying something. That the reason why Facebook ads don't have high ROI
