There's nothing else you need to do with that particular post. Once you submit and it gets accepted, the post will go live on one of their blogs and they will make sure it gets indexed.

Nothing else. BMR will automatically social bookmark your posts to help them get indexed.

You're all done, but you can click on the 'Find Links' icon after the post is live to see if it's been indexed yet.

Your job is done, BMR will do the rest. I have heard somewhere that Google is devaluing BMR backlinks. I am afraid that this won't impact your website reputation in a negative way. |

Dont get carried away, keep the distribution rate low. More than once I overdid it with BMR moving up to 10 posts per day and in every case my sites got a temporary penalty. 10 Links per day does not sound a lot compared to other services that submit much more, but PR'd links look "paid", which is why I think its so easy to mess up with BMR. So, just take it slow and steady. |

Keep on building more backlinks wherever you can, make sure you diversify your anchor text you're using, never build more than 50% of your links using 1 keyword.

I also went a bit over the top with BMR and as a result got a nasty penalty - all keywords went down at least 50-80 spaces and most of them were in the top 5! Does anyone know how long these penalties last or are they permanent?

| What exactly is "a bit over the top"? Did you use all the same anchor text? If so, try mixing in other anchor text from BMR or from other sources.

Doubtful my friend, very doubtful. Chances are you experienced a Google dance and nothing more. It happens and is part of the SEO game, but a penalty from only 10 links? Just think about that for a second. If that's all it took to get your competition out of the SERPs don't you think you'd hear more about it?

| Agreed. In my opinion BMR is the bees knees. Just keep posting articles each day and watch your sites start jumping up in the rankings.

I've got a quick question about BMR - If I sign up to the 5 domains plan can I change around my sites? So say I build some links to the 5 domains I start with can I then swap those 5 domains for another 5 domains and build some backlinks to them? Also, if I can do that do the links I built to the first 5 domains still stay? Hope that makes sense |

Yes, you can archive the first 5 sites and add new sites. Whatever links that were published will stay even if you stop your subscription.

Of course Google know which are BMR blogs, and they know that all the links are paid to trick google.

I wouldn't think it would be that tricky for google to hunt down their blogs and deindex them, but evidently google isn't doing so. I don't think google would penalize your site from getting backlinks from them. Though they may penalize your site for getting all the SAME type of backlinks. I really do like thier service, but I am worried it will eventually get shut down. But I suppose if BMR does get shut down, I'm just out the money I spent to build those links. And the time I could have spent building others.

It seems you guys have experience getting sites out of Google's penalty. Recently, I had five sites receive a -50 Google Penalty. Each of the sites has less than 10 pages of content, 1 or 2 article submissions in the last month (4 differing anchor texts in the body with one consistent anchor text in the Reference Box), and maybe 20 BMR posts on 4 different keywords (same as the AMR). Is it safe to assume a high concentration of the same anchor texts got the attention of Google's algo and penalized? If so, how do you suggest I tackle this issue? Continue link building but to diversified anchor texts? And in your experience, how long does it take to get out of this? Thank you in advance. Appreciate all the help I can get. |
