How do I get ads for google to stop displaying in my google ads?

Hi everyone,

I just made my first "adsense" site, for car insurance, here:
How to make $100 per minute – with car insurance quotes?!

It's not much, but I'm proud of it... all except for the point of the exercise, to display car insurance adsense ads.

Google just puts up their big graphic ad for advertsizing on adwords in my ad space! The site is about a month old, and car insurance ads were displaying correctly once upon a time.

I tried changing the ad block to text only, and I tried blocking google.com from the adsesnse control panel but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions? Big brother google seems determined to undermine my efforts... dountless "to serve me better"

Never mind... The annoying ad for google adwords has finally disapperared and regular ads related to my keywords started showing up.

I guess it just takes a while for the new settings to kick in.

Just a heads up, your page (link in OP) keeps telling readers to click the link, that's a bad idea IMO while having Adsense on the same page. Also 7 Ads on a single page is looking kind of desperate.

Yes encouraging people to click on the ads
is a good way to get your Adsense account banned
