Google search results-please help to understand

I was wondering if someone on this forum could answer my questions about Google Search Results. Today I entered these keywords in Google "spa toronto". Before giving me an expected list of web-sites with titles and meta-descriptions, Google first gave me a list of 10-15 web-sites under a common title: "Places for spa near Toronto, Ontario. Why Google produced a list like this for only a certain number of web-sites? I am building a web-site for a local spa in Toronto, and also would like the web-site to appear under this list. Thank you very much for your help
