Hey Alexis, No problem ![]() Personally I would spend more time blogging then I would on the On-Page SEO. But I do keep On Page in mind when writing blog posts, I usually keep to a keyword density of around 3% and I would research longtail keywords before writing. But without some good content then you will not have good On Page SEO, I used to have a blog when I didn't know much about SEO but I still got quite a bit of traffic from long tail searches etc. So even with no On Page SEO you can still rank for keywords you were not even targeting as such. Hi, Sorry to be so blunt but your question makes no sense. The most effective method will depend on your niche, your business, your offer, your relationship in the niche, your marketing mix. You could have a dog grooming business and find that giving dog grooming tips on your local radio is the absolute best way to get your ideal customers, but someone in a different town might find that advertising in the local paper was better, someone else might find that Facebook PPC works better, or getting organic traffic from link building gets them the right customers. It's hardly ever the same for 2 people and what works for someone else is not necessarily what is best for you. The best answer is - find out for yourself and do less of what doesn't work well and more of what does. blogging, videos, seo, etc.. etc.. are all just tools. none are better than another until you define the situation and goal and understand the context. On Page is very important, but it doesn't have to be difficult nor time consuming and it can be done once and left alone. Do it right the first time and move on.

You don't actually need to care about on-page seo at all in order to be number 1 in Google. I have clients that have been top of Google for several years without having the keywords/phrases anywhere on their website. Nothing is so important that you have to do it. What you should do comes down to what works best for you. By default you should understand and consider on page factors but they're not essential. I have sites that make money that have NONE of the things you've listed done. It's all a matter of choice and tapping in to whatever is personally most effective for YOU. There are no fixed answers that you have to apply to all people. | |
