Best Wordpress Adsense Themes

I know that this subject was overtalked,but I want to be sure that I know which theme should I pick.

Right now Im using bluesense wordpress theme and it seems to be working just fine for me,but I heard that CTR theme and clickbump themes are also very very good.

What are your thoughts about the best adsense themes,which themes give you the highest click rate?

HeatMap Theme (free) is also good if you want to keep the look of the website more professional while getting a good CTR

Paid themes lets look at
1. CTR 67 dollars (no longer supported, author has disappeared)
2. Clickbump 47 dollars (awesome support, the programmer, Scott, is a board member here , and he will bust his butt to answer your questions, no matter how many you have)

Well,the point is that I can get CTR theme for free from my friend,thats why I ask if its better than bluesense.

And Im thinking of buying clickbump for 17 dollars that comes with the amaze theme.

I don't care where Eppie went, CTR Theme has made me thousands more than I'd have if I still used Clickbump on all of my sites... CTR Theme it is for me!

You can customize Clickbump WAY more than you can CTR
so there is no way that CTR gets better CTR ratios unless the webmaster doesnt know how to control the settings

They are both customizable but Clickbump has way more settings IMO

so your determination of software being good or not is if you can get if for free? not exactly a good method of choosing IMO

The guys that keep preaching theme support makes a WP theme better than the rest are full of BS, they haven't tested very many themes, I'm sure just by how they are stuck on a single theme.

I've been in Adsense for 5 years & tested at least a hundred themes (no joke).

The Adsense theme needs to be very simple in design, very few theme images + very few post images.

You don't need support past day #1 after installing a theme, either the theme works or it doesn't!

If it doesn't work by day #2, get a refund!

I've used Wordpress themes from 2007 that have never been updated & they still work today!

Who the heck needs support on day 97 for a theme? Get real!

I suggest you test themes yourself on your own sites.

Some common things I've found in all of my own sites is:

• Adsense above the fold.
• WP theme is very simple in design (very few images to distract traffic).
• Best performing Ad block for me is Top Center of the page with a Text Ad.

If you already have the CTRtheme (I think you said you did) then test the theme on your own site/traffic.

Don't slap the theme on the site & 2 days later say the CTR sucks, I'm moving on to another theme. Colors & Ad block location can increase/decrease CTR by large percentages on the same theme, you have to test it yourself, nobody can do these things for you.

Anytime you make a change to the page (colors, Ad location, Ad size, etc...) make sure to track the data for at least a week before making new changes, it doesn't matter If you lose money for that week (trust me on this, think long term), you have to track the data & that will tell you which theme combo is best for your site.

Everything I said above is exactly why CTRtheme has Ad rotation built into the site, it's for testing & gathering data to determine what actually gets higher CTRs.

Keep in mind, I'm not selling CTRtheme so I don't really care If anyone ever buys the theme or not. I like the theme & what it has to offer (simplicity & Ad rotation).

I like Niche Adsense Theme. It's not very customizable. I use it for small micro niche sites but get an excellent CTR. It's always in the double digits.

You cannot get CTR Theme free LEGALLY.

CTR Theme is being supported again. Eppie has been replying to support tickets, at least that's what I'm being told by CTR Theme users lately.

I'd highly recommend Clickbump theme. The base Amaze template you get with the Clickbump Engine for $17 is amazing...And even more amazing is Scott's support.

I have started using Thesis 1.8b4 on my last couple of blogs. It is quite flexible, but it invalidates one of my plugins that I like to use. I am having to learn how to do without it. I don't know how well it will do with AdSense, but I guess I will find out.

If you ask me, I would go for adsense pro ultimate theme or with Beink CTR Theme. Reason is its functionality is awesome and you can get good CTR compared with other themes around...

I'm a web designer and when I first started out with Adsense, I thought I can make much prettier sites than this but now I get it, it's the ugly sites that make the money!

A compromise for me is Matt Carters affiliate theme. It doesn't look too bad and it converts well.

I agree with yukon, testing is very important. I use both the ctr theme and the clickbump them, played around with them and found they actually both give similar ctr on sites of the same niche, while they can still do poorly on some of my other sites that are of a different niche. I think ctr has a lot also to do with your niche as well as other things, such as your blog posts, if you have other "distracting" images or videos on your site etc. Basically get rid of them and keep your site looking clean, simple and basically boring!

All of these Adsense themes have one major issue: the website with this theme (any of them) looks like ****. It looks awful and outdated, like the site in 90s.

I see where you're coming from, but honestly they all do pretty well since they all share a similar 'base' layout for the most part with optimal ad placement, but I've found the Clickmagnet and Clickbumped templates to be the most effective.

I haven't used any of the CTR or bluesense theme.
In my opinion Socrates theme is also not bad in terms of CTR.
I am getting contineous 5% CTR in one of my sites.

it depends on the type of niche you are in, some do better some don't. I would go with adsense pro ultimate as I had much success with it...haven't tried any other CTR theme.

Linking to a category page isn't a silo. There's a lot more to it than that.

Have a look at the Theme Grade website. They list free/paid themes and give them a SEO and general score. I have found quite a few nice themes there.
