1) Ranking well in yahoo, but gone from google. 2 months old. Generating traffic ~70 visitors per day and making 25$ per month. 2) Ranking 1st in google, but only 3 weeks old website (generates 300$per month if stays first) |

As a rule of thumb sites are generally valued at somewhere between 10x to 12x monthly earnings. There are exceptions, like if it's a rare domain or a growing niche, but that calculation would be a start. At the end of the day a website is worth exactly as much as a buyer is willing to pay. I myself wouldn't consider buying a site that was less than 18 months old. |

Why is site #1 not in Google? Is it deindexed? |

Honestly man, these sites can probably be improved to make more (that is usually the case with site being bought) Sooo, i would just take the 12 month earning and tack on a bit. |

There are still some works that need to be done..Don't be too rush to get your site on top...Just continue what you are doing to see more good results.

Factors such as how consistant the rankings are , how old the site is, how customised the script on the site is, how stable the income is, how easy the competition is are all factors that affect the cost of the site. So the only way to truly price the site would be to justify those variables first. Hope that helps. |

often sites sell for 6-12 months worth of their income. if the income has been pretty steady for some time its not such a bad idea. however, why not just increase it more? then it would be worth a lot more! - and keep your site #1 in google for sure!

If you can rank the site on Google I'm sure it will sell for more. Still as long as it's not deindexed ranking isn't a deal breaker. Some guys might want to buy simply because they can rank the keyword + the site is already built (content, etc...). | |
