please help me with backlinking issue with freelancers

(Please note for my purposes I am only interested in long term - no short term gains)

Hi I have hired previously SEO people but trouble is they produce a lot of useless backlinks like profile links (not long term) and spam blog comments (not long term + bad) and poor English + poor quality article spinnings or blog comments which are not approved.

Can you help me please - what kind of backlinks can I request from them so that:

• A) the backlinks are quality and keep working long term
• B) that I am able to check that they did the job

So far I was thinking youtube videos, but i think there is no PR juice from that... but hopefully you can give me more ideas.

Then the problem is your staff.

Why not hire again but this time hire for REAL, make a test for a short period of time and see what they can do. Or maybe because you hire a $0.50 per hour thats why they also giving you a low quality stuff.

Link exchange will give a standard back links and most of the high page rank directory site's link will be standard like Dmoz.

And you have to think about one thing that most of the back links are reduced from last week. I have checked many sites from yahoo, all of the sites having half of back links only than before had.

So continues link building needed now a days. Just explain this details to your SEO worker and ask some more people about this issues. so that u can get better solution for your problem.

hi jeresteem99, no last time i hired for $3 per hour i think, which still may be low, but my issue is not so much the money, but i don't know how to find the person who will do "proper" SEO - I don't know what to ask for and I don't know what indicators to look for....

any advice appreciated

You will never find a high quality list which hasn't already got loads of spam on it, you will have to build the list yourself if you want a good one.

Just tell them what links you do not want and the links you do want:

I say to linkbuilders: No forum profiles, no blog comments and no automated software or you could just use the software yourself.

The best way to build links is by asking related sites to link to you, I think you should get them to do this.
