I can't seem to find an answer about keywords in domains like this: (Two exact match keyword phrases) Example: mydvdplayer dot com dvdplayerforsale dot com If the search volume for (my dvd player) is say 1,000/month exact match search and (dvd player for sale) is say 1000/month exact match search is it advantageous to get the domain name. mydvdplayerforsale dot com I understand the benefits of long tail keywords but am a little confused as to if combining two exact match keyword phrases in a domain name is the correct thing to do if say there is not exact search volume for mydydplayerforsale dot com It seems that if you optimize your website for the keywords (my dvd player for sale) you should in time gain traffic from the exact match (my dvd player) Is this thinking correct or not? It's a given that the keyword phrase (my dvd player) is already purchased for a dot com and is not available. So, is combining 2 exact match keyword phrases in a domain name the smart thing to do. Thanks in advance for any assistance. ballanrk |

I have done it and from what I can see as long as you use the right stop words you should be good to go. I prefer to use stop words at the end but you also want the domain to make sense. Just my opinion |
